“Yes it’s finally working!”

It was the day we launched our own kites and not all them were working but it was still mostly fun and even better because my kite was starting to catch wind after a few modifications later. It would never go very high only about 10 meters but it was working and that's what mattered the most.

It was amazing to see all the kites in the air because a few hours earlier the classrooms were a mess because of them. About 10 kites had a crash landing and got turned into shreds and were ready for the bin and a few were fixable and some were absolutely perfect.

But we did not just make kites we also learnt some history about them like the fact that the Chinese made the first kites ever. And we learnt some names of different kites. After all that, it was an awesome day because all we did was kites, kites kites!
